Bridge Creek Clays and South Georgia Youth Shooting Club in Hartsfield, Georgia hosted the event, where over 55 participating shooters aged 12 – 19 years old competed. FARMINGDALE, NY, May 24, 2008 – World Champion shooter, Bruce Piatt competed in the 2008 Sportsman Team Challenge, held at the NSSA/NSCA National Shooting Center in San Antonio, TX and won the Three Man Team Event in addition to taking 1 st Place in the Open Two Man National Championship. This year's event was in honor and memory of Ken Sedlecky, world champion and Hall of Fame Skeet Shooter. Bruce and his teammates shut out 88 other teams by shooting all six events, consisting of clay targets and colorful steel targets shot with 22 rimfire rifles, 22 rimfire pistols and 12 gauge shotguns at varying distances from 40 yards to 90 yards.
When asked to comment on the lighting conditions, Bruce said, “because of the overcast skies in the morning, I wore my Orange Plus lenses which brought out the clay targets and provided me with an advantage to pick up my electronic sight on my pistol. Bruce won his fourth National Bianchi Cup Open/Metallic Aggregate Championship, which consists of shooting the entire event twice. Once with an iron sighted 1911 standard pistol and again with a highly customized scoped 1911 pistol, Piatt also took 2 nd overall and becomes the only person do ever achieve the Aggregate Championship title four times.

SunBuster's Bruce Piatt Steps onto Army Turf and Wins

FARMINGDALE, NY, December 2, 2007 – Bruce Piatt traveled to Fort Benning, Georgia, home of the Army Marksmanship Unit to compete in their 3-Gun Challenge and shot a great match winning the hardest of all divisions, Tactical Iron. Piatt was quick to comment, “The Army Marksmanship Unit put on a very exciting match for every competitor. The stages were well thought out and very challenging. Visual clarity is critical in aiming the rifle in addition to the task of locating the targets in the natural terrain, foliage and urban combat ranges in the area. Competitors must choose one of four divisions in which to play: Open Division allows all three guns to sport compensators, optics and speed loaders for the shotguns.
Tactical Optics is a popular division as the equipment simulates what a modern army has. Iron sighted pistols, nine round non-compensated shotguns, and optically equipped rifles.
Tactical Iron has the shooters using the same pistol and shotguns as the Tactical Optics but mandates the rifle to be equipped with the standard Iron Sights.
Heavy Metal, the same as Tactical Iron, mandates the use of .45 pistol, .30 caliber rifles, and pump shotguns.

May 26, 2007 – Bruce Piatt, the returning Bianchi Cup Champion, finished second place overall and set two national records at the 2007 NRA Bianchi Cup National Action Pistol Championship, held in Columbia, MO. Excitement filled the air as spectators watched Piatt score a record setting 1918-154x with his Metallic Sight gun and finished the Overall Aggregate with an all time high of 3838-337x. Piatt, commented, “Posting a second place finish at the Bianchi Cup is certainly something I'm proud of but I must admit I'm still a little disappointed I didn't pull off a back to back victory after last year's win. SunBuster® Corrects the Flaw of Ordinary Sunglass

"Our GolfCorrect™ lenses are optically designed and ground to undo one of the most common problems with ordinary sunglasses," commented Steven Asman company president. "We call it Eye-Plane™ Shift Distortion (ESD) Golf," he continued. "Because of the wrap or curvature, most sunglasses lenses cause prismatic distortion with any head or eye movement up, down or sideways."
Prismatic distortion is particularly punishing for golfers. The golfer first sets up to the ball at address looking through the center of the sunglass lens. Then, in order to clear the shoulders for the golf swing, the head and chin tilt up while the eyes tilt down looking through the bottom half of the lens. This shift in eye-plane causes a prismatic shift that makes it appear the golf ball has moved. SunBuster's GolfCorrect lens eliminates ESD.
